June 1, 1942 — August 27, 2015

Bonita "Bonnie" Boissy, 73, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2015 at home, with her family by her side.

She was born in Schenectady to the late George and Rita Klein.

She worked for New York State Senate, as an Administrative Assistant with the Correspondence office of the Minority Leader in Albany.

Bonnie was an avid New York Yankee fan, she loved listening to music, fishing and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her sister Doris Klein.

She is survived by her husband of over 48 years, Richard W. Boissy; her children, Timothy (Melissa) Boissy, Debra (Travis) Colwell and Kevin Boissy. Her siblings; Dolores and James Klein. She is the adored grandmother of Alyson and Shawn Boissy and Brynn and Evan Colwell.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, where funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm. Burial will be private.
