Alice M. Henderson

Henderson, Alice M. 81 of Albany passed away on October 23, 2015, after suffering a heart attack. She was born on August 23,1934, in Massachusetts and moved to Albany in 1967. She worked for NYS Tax and Finance for over 20 years, retiring in 1991. She loved her family, a good bowl of French onion soup, completing crossword puzzles, shopping and making her "almost famous" New England clam chowder. Alice was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Franklin R. Henderson in 2013. She is survived by her son, Franklin R. Henderson of Albany and her daughter, Vicki L. Grieves (Don) of Colonie, as well as a grandson, Tyler M. Grieves She was predeceased by her granddaughter Nicole Grieves.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 from 10:00am- 12:00pm, with a service to immediately follow.
