Amanda Elizabeth Scott , 27, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2015.
Amanda was the daughter of David A. Scott and Tracey M. (Lynch) Scott.
Amanda worked for Albany Medical Center as an RN, and was so proud of her work there.
She was a lover of life and new adventures, with a witty sense of humor and a heart of gold. She enjoyed dancing and listening to music and loved spending time with her entire family and friends.
Amanda was predeceased by her paternal grandparents; Ruth and Lorin Scott and her dog, Tommie.
In addition to her parents, Amanda is survived by her sisters; Danielle (Troy Diskin) Scott and Kiersten Scott. She is the adored granddaughter of Edward and Margaret "Peggy" Lynch. She is also survived by her "puppy brother" Lorenzo, her "puppy niece" Vivienne and several aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, New York on Tuesday November 10, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held Wednesday November 11, 2015 at 10:00 am at New Comer Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at Our Lady of Angels, Colonie, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Mohawk & Hudson River Humane Society 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204 in Amanda's memory.
