Niskayuna- Anna M. Hafner, 95, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 2, 2016. Born in Hudson, New York she was the daughter of the late John and Anna Conte. She is predeceased by her loving husband William J. Hafner (1971).
Following her marriage Anna and her husband relocated to Schenectady. Anna and her family were active parishioners of St. Paul the Apostle Church since 1952. She was an active and loyal member of the St. Paul's senior citizen organization until 2013. Anna was a dedicated mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her siblings; John (Joan), Vincent (Angie), Louie (Maureen) Conte and, Margaret Jennings. She is also survived by her children, William S. Hafner (Doreen), Diane Thompson & JoAnne Krause (Rick) as well as her grandchildren, Gary Thompson, Bill Jr., Keith, Nick, Craig Hafner, Rich and Jeffrey Krause (Katy), great grandchildren; Adam and Matthew Krause
Anna is also predeceased by her brothers; Fred Conte and Joseph Conte (WWII) and her sisters, Antoinette Jablonski and Mary Abate.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 6, 2016 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at New Comer Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on May 7, 2016 at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 2777 Albany St, Schenectady, NY 12304 at 11:00am. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Schenectady.
