Angelina Cardella

Colonie- Angelina F. "Angie" Cardella, 85, passed into glory on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 surrounded by loved ones. Angie was born in Albany to the late Santo and Marina Filogamo.

Angie's passion was faithfully serving her church in music ministry for 71 years as an organist and pianist. Angie was a stenographer for the State of New York in her early years. Angie enjoyed her cats.

Angie was predeceased by her beloved husband of 44 years Frank Cardella, Sr. She was also predeceased by sister, Mary Mucci of Albany.

She is survived by her four sons, Frank Jr., Vincent Sr., Santino, and Dave; several grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

Calling hours will be held from 4-8pm on Monday, June 27, 2016 at New Comer Funeral Home, Colonie. A funeral service will be held 11am on Tuesday at the funeral home with interment following in Evergreen Memorial Park.
