Shelley Lynn Anderson

Shelley Lynn Anderson, 65, passed away peacefully in the arms of her Lord on Sunday at Ellis Hospital. Born on August 5, 1951, she was the daughter of Ambrose Anderson and the late Sarah Baker.
She graduated from Mont Pleasant H.S. in 1969. She worked at St. Clare's Cafeteria for many years and was supervisor at Sunnyview Hospital until her illness. She was a member and lector of St. Joseph's Church in Schenectady.
She was a sister (mother) to us all. She was loving and devoted to her family.
Our loving sister will be missed deeply by her surviving family; Father, Ambrose Anderson; Step-dad George Baker; Brothers, Jeff Anderson, Kenny Gibson, Darnell Baker, Shawn Baker, Rodney Baker, and Kevin Anderson; Sisters, Karen Anderson and Darlene Bradford-Williams; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Dewey Bradford.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00am on Friday, October 14, 2016 at St. Joseph's Church on Lafayette St., Schenectady. Interment will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Schenectady, followed by a reception at the Moose Lodge on lower Broadway.
