Barbara Lorraine Hedden

CLIFTON PARK-Barbara Lorraine (Provost) Hedden, 84, of Clifton Park, died at home surrounded by her family on November 16, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Lorraine was born in Albany on July 12, 1932 to the late Joseph and Victoria Duclos.
She leaves behind her husband, Warren; her children, Kevin (Debbie) Provost and Karyn (Tom) Marinucci, Kenneth (Geri) Hedden and Kimberly (Donald Peters) Meres; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Provost and their daughter, Debra Provost Warner; grandson, Randy Meres; brothers, Joseph and Paul Duclos and sisters, Shirley McLinskey and Rita Mero.
Lorraine is retired from the Shenendehowa School District where she worked for 29 years. She was also active with After the Fire of Saratoga County for 10 years.
The family would like to thank Community Hospice for their kind and compassionate care. Special thanks to her nurse Nicole Williams and the Home Health Aide Lori Thomas for the exceptional care that they provided.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 21, 2016 at 9:30am at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 33 Walter St., Albany, NY 12204. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2016 from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205. Interment will be held at St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands.
In lieu of flowers, it was Lorraine's wish that donations be made in her memory to the Community Hospice:
