ALBANY- Mary I. Notaro, 77, passed away on January 2, 2017 with her loving family by her side.
Mary was born to the late Frank and Lucy Couccio in Albany, NY on January 24, 1939. In 1958 Mary married the love of her life, Francis "Poopsie" Notaro. They were married for 36 years, and together they had one son, Guido. Mary will be remembered for her love of music, singing and dancing, and her shopping bus trips.
She is predeceased by her husband, Francis J. Notaro.
Mary is survived by her loving son, Guido (Sheree) Notaro, her siblings; Joe (Rosemary) Cuoccio, and Josephine (Paul) Wasserbach, and a host of family, friends, nieces, and nephews.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, on Sunday, January 8, 2017, from 2:00pm-5:00pm. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, January 9, 2017 at 10:00am. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie, NY.
Today is the day that Mary dances again with her husband, Francis. For she has joined him in the ballroom of the skies above. May they dance together forever.
