Guilderland- Tina M. Mason passed away Thursday June 1, 2017 with her loving family by her side. Tina was the daughter of the late Gaetano and Philomena (Bambrola) Ragoni. Tina was the devoted wife to the late Allen D. Mason.
Tina primarily worked at home raising her six children; she was also an employee of Albany County for 10 years before retiring. Tina spent many summers caring for her Grandchildren, where many memories were created making homemade play-doh, going to Tawasentha Park, and playing hide and seek in the beloved blue laundry hamper.
Tina enjoyed spending time with her family on "Sauce" Sundays with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Seeing her home filled with love, laughter and food was one of her greatest joys in life .Tina was an avid reader of "who done-its". Tina is well known for her quick wit and steadfast temperament. She has taught her family to have the tenacity that has led them to accomplish their goals, pull through hardships, and to build their families.
Tina is survived by her children, Allen D.(Karen), Thomas (Gayle), Dennis (Kelly), Philomena (Kevin) Reilly, David, Tina (James) Richburg; grandchildren, Allen (Jessica), Brian, Nicole (Paul), Thomas Jr, Maria (Will) Dringus, Dennis Jr. ,Kristy (Aaron) Connor, Erin Reilly, Brendan Reilly, David Jr., Scott, Amanda (John) Van Deloo, James Richburg Jr., Katelyn Richburg; great grandchildren, Jason, Ariana, Jackson, Elena, Lily, Paige; sisters, Mary Gianetto and Rose Maggio; sister-in-law, Marge Ragoni; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Tina was predeceased by her parents, Gaetano and Philomena Ragoni; her husband, Allen D.; sisters, Philomena Rosen and Jeanne Spears; brother, Sonny Ragoni; and granddaughter, Shannon Reilly.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 from 11:00am to 12:00pm. Interment will follow at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
The family would like to sincerely thank the health care professionals that have helped care for Tina throughout her life, especially Dr. Francois Vachon who was her primary care physician for over 20 years.
