Wynantskill- William F. Farrell "Bill", 77, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, July 27, 2017. He was the son of the late Christopher J. and Bernice W. Farrell. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Gail H. Farrell.
Bill was a member of the Early Engine Club at the Schaghticoke Fair. He and Gail met through the SOS club and married two years later. Bill enjoyed many things especially camping and family.
Bill is survived by his children, Elizabeth (Michael Malmgren) Fair, William Farrell Jr. and Teri (T.J.) Sosebee. He is also survived by Gail's children, Mark (Nicole) Ambuhl, Brian Ambuhl and John (Susan) Ambuhl. Bill also leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as his siblings, Christopher J. (Roberta) Farrell, Patrick (Frances) Farrell, Kathryn Farrell, and Marcia Wetmore.
Bill is predeceased by his twin brother, Thomas (Sarah) Farrell.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from 9:30am-11:30am at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY 12189. A funeral service will follow starting at 11:30am with interment being held at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
