Schenectady- Joan M. McGill, 84, passed away on August 3, 2017 with her family at her side. Born in Pittsfield, MA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Agnes Barry.
Joan is survived by her children, Daniel (Sandra) McGill and Maribeth (William) Perone; grandchildren, A.J. Perone and William M. (Tracie) Perone.
She is predeceased by her daughter, Debra McGill.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 from 4pm to 7pm at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. A funeral service will immediately follow at 7pm at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Pittsfield, MA.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundations, 4550 Montgomery Ave., Suite 1100 N Bethesda, MD 20814 OR to Community Hospice of Albany, 310 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208.
