Jeannine Hudon, 84, formerly of Massena, NY, joined her late husband Marcel in eternal life on August 31, 2017 in Schenectady, NY.
Jeannine and Marcel were married for 61 years. Jeannine was born in Riviere Ouelle Quebec to the late Marie and Joseph Levesque on March 13, 1933. She earned her teaching degree in Levis, Quebec in 1951.
Jeannine had many passions, taking care of her children and spending time with her husband were the most important to her. She also enjoyed sewing, cooking and music, reading and fashion as well.
She is survived by her nine children; Michael (Jean), Denis (Barbara), Therese (Dave), Normand (Laura), Martin (Rebecca), Louise (Brian), Mary (Brian), Susan (Ray), Thomas (Tracy). She also leaves 20 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a prayer service to follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Alzheimer's Disease Association, 4 Pine West Plaza #405, Albany, NY 12205.
