ALBANY- Andrew M. Yankowski, 53, of Albany, died Friday, December 22, 2017 after a brief illness.
Born in Albany, Andy was the son of the late Deacon Frank E. Yankowski and Jacqueline Murphy Yankowski.
Andy was a graduate of Lasalle Institute class of 1982. Andy had been employed with several grocery stores in the Capital Region and the City of Albany for a number of years. Andy enjoyed sports and was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and Washington Redskins. He also liked to cook and spend time with family and friends. Andy also cherished his time spent with his girlfriend, Eileen Bucci.
He was predeceased by his sister, Marybeth Bergin and his brother, John Yankowski.
Andy is survived by his two brothers, David (Colleen) Yankowski and Robert (Sara) Yankowski ; his girlfriend, Eileen Bucci and her two daughters, Amy and Julie; his five nephews: Justin Shea, Daniel, David, Thomas and Robbie Yankowski and a niece, Anna Yankowski. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
