Mildred E. Bennett, 85, of Niskayuna, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 25, 2018.
Born in Troy, Mildred was the daughter of the late George and Regina (McPhail) Reiniger.
She was the devoted and beloved wife to Howard C. Bennett. Together they were married 65 years.
Beloved wife of Howard Bennett, Loving mother of David Bennett and Karen Benton, dearest grandmother of five grandchildren. cherished great grandmother of six. Also survived by her sisters Jean Mooney and Eileen Swota, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Donald Reiniger, George Reiniger and Bernard Reiniger and sister Marion Petnel.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, on Tuesday January 30, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Prayers will be offered on Wednesday January 31, 2018 at 10:00 am in the funeral home, thence to Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna for entombment and the rite of committal.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY 12204.
