Elizabeth E. Brown

Elizabeth Elaine Brown, 89, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home with her loving family by her side.

Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Max and Eunice Mosall.

Elizabeth was the devoted wife of over 52 years to the late Edmund J. Brown, Sr.

Elizabeth graduated from Albany High School in 1947. As a child she modeled Shirley Temple clothing with several Department Store. She was employed by Havens Electric as a comptometer Operator; she also worked for South Colonie School District as a Teachers Aide for 15 years.

She was a member and a communicant of Christ Our Light Catholic Church. She was also a past member of the Colonie Elks Women's Auxiliary and she volunteered for the Albany County Board of Elections.

Elizabeth enjoyed being seamstress for her family, reading, she was an avid bowler and spending time with her family and friends. She loved her summer vacations on Schroon Lake with her family.

In addition to her parents and her husband she was predeceased by her grandson, Jason, her siblings; Milton Mosall, Robert Mosall and Shirley Livingston.

Elizabeth is survived by her children; Dennis E. (Carolyn), Edmund J. (Linda), Jr., Michael (Kathleen) and Margaret (Michael) Carson. She is the adored grandmother of; Brian (Sara), Dana (Justin), Jeffrey, Christopher, Meghan (Nathan), Edmund III and Daniel. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren, Samantha, Wyatt and Lucy and she is the sister of Geraldine Ackert and Douglas Mosall.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 10:00 am at Christ Our Light Catholic Church, 1 Maria Drive, Loudonville, NY. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 7:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funeral, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Interment will follow the Mass at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
