Patricia M. Christian

Colonie- Patricia M. Christian, 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on February 15, 2018 at her home. Born on August 7, 1935 in Albany, NY, Pat was the daughter of the late Walter and Ruth (DuCharme) Fryer. She married the love of her life, Harold F. Christian, Jr. in 1953. Together they raised their family in Colonie. He predeceased her after 47 wonderful years of marriage. Her biggest accomplishment was her family, she was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. Pat's second love was trying her luck at the racino and with scratch-offs. She enjoyed spending time with all of her family and friends in her home that she took great pride in. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Pat is survived by her beloved children: Kathy (Bob) Ogborn, Lori (Tucker) Jubic and her son James (Peggy) Christian; her grandchildren: Kelly (Nick) Mohl, Eric Wigand, Bobby Ogborn and Katlyn (Jason) Russell; her precious great-grandchildren: Kelsey, Brooke, Caden and Calliope; her sister Carol Borst and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Pat was predeceased by her siblings: Ann, Walter and Donald.
Visitation will be from 4 pm to 7 pm on Monday, February 19 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A funeral mass will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, February 20 at Christ Our Light Catholic Church, 1 Maria Drive, Albany. Burial will follow at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Pat's name to The Community Hospice, Gift Processing Center, 310 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208.
