Albany- Deborah "Debbie" Knoll, 47, passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at St. Peter's Hospital.
Born on August 16, 1970 in Albany, a daughter of the late Rodney M. and Lynne M. Cunningham Foster, II. Debbie is a 1988 graduate of Berne-Knox Westerlo High School and a 1993 graduate of Saint Rose College, where she earned her Bachelor's Degree. Debbie worked as a mortgage underwriter for Homestead Funding Group for twenty years.
Survivors include her loving husband of 25 years, Daniel Knoll; sons, Ryan and Justin Knoll; sister, Melissa Foster; mother-in-law, Linda Knoll; father-in-law, Jack Knoll (Laurie); brother-in-law, Chris Knoll (Lotta); sister-in-law, Jodi Guilbault (Steve); aunt, Lee (Daniel) Baggott; uncle, Daniel (Maureen) Cunningham; cousin, Ellen (Paul) Miller; many nieces and nephews. Debbie was predeceased by her grandparents, Felix & Margaret Cunningham, Rodney and Audrey Foster and Stanley & Florence (Beauma) Hapeman, George & Virginia Knoll.
Debbie's children were her world; she was a Cub Scout pack leader and treasurer for pack 1083 for seven years. Debbie was also very enthusiastically committed to her boys' sports; soccer, baseball and basketball, while volunteering at their school and chaperoning field trips. She was very proud in knowing her three pups, Bella, Miles and Taz, were rescue dogs from Forever Home Rescue. Debbie loved her yearly trips to the ocean, whether it was Hampton Beach, Salisbury Beach or Wild Wood at the Jersey Shore.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie from 4pm until 7pm. The parish of Christ the King will gather at 4:30 pm, all are welcome. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 10am at Christ the King Catholic Church, 20 Sumter Ave. Albany, 12203. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Angels, Albany.
