Billy J. Fowler was born in Darlington, SC on August 30th, 1947 to the late Claude Fowler, Sr. and Gladys Lewis Fowler.
After long-term illness, he entered into his final resting place on Tuesday, June 19th, 2018 at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY.
Service: Friday June 29th, 2018 at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205 - Visitation Hours 11am-12pm, Service begins at 12pm
Survivors he left to cherish his loving memory is his children, Billy J. Fowler II of Schenectady, NY, Teresa M. (Kenneth) Bryant of Upper Marlboro, MD, and Jason J. Fowler of Rensselaer, NY; four grandchildren, Kenya Wade, Konya, K. Wesley and Kamille Bryant; three great grandchildren A'Niyah Wade, Jade and Layah Bryant of Upper Marlboro, MD; his sister, Lucille Drayton and sister-in-law Rosa Fowler of South Carolina; and longtime friend Barbara Daley and children, Rayna Braswell-Daley (Pooh Bear) who was like his own granddaughter.
Billy was predeceased by his parents, Claude Sr. and Gladys Fowler; his son Robert W. Fowler; his two sisters, Bessie Mae Williamson and Virginia C. Warner; and his three brothers, Claude Jr. Fowler, Tracy Fowler, and Tommy Fowler. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
