Michael A. Barletta, 90, of Clifton Park, formerly of Schenectady, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 12, 2018.
Survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Elizabeth (Polch) Barletta. Beloved father of; Sandra Dethorne of Clifton Park, Daniel (Mary) Barletta of Ballston Lake and the late Kathleen (Philip) Bergeron of Englewood, FL. Cherished grandfather of; Jennifer Bergeron, Amanda Barletta, Michael Barletta and Harrison Dethorne.
Born in Schenectady and a lifelong area resident, Michael was the son of the late Mary (DeNovio) Mastan.
Michael was a US Navy veteran, serving as a Coxswain during WWII (1944-1946) and received an honorable discharge for his faithful service.
Michael was an Optician for his whole career, he retired from Empire Vision in Albany. His favorite pastimes and interests included hunting, fishing, boating and coin collecting.
In keeping with Michael's wishes, there will be no services.
