WATERVLIET- Carol M. Saso, age 76, passed away peacefully at home on November 22, 2018.
She was born in Elizabeth, NJ, the daughter of the late Stephen and Mary Sladicka. She was predeceased by her daughter Darlene Capovani.
Carol liked to read and travel with her husband Jim on their motorcycle. After raising her family, she found her niche as a Teacher's Aide at Watervliet High School. She also enjoyed following her grandchildrens activities and accomplishments.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jim Saso; her three children: Jim (Lora) Saso Jr., Sharon (Robert) Farrell and Suzanne (Duane) Moran; son in law, Joseph Capovani; 11 grandchildren: Lauren, Megan, Matthew, Alex, Leah, Dylan, Kelly, Kara, Christine, Jamie, and Monica. She is also survived by a brother, two sisters and many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the Community Hospice staff for their love and care given to them.
All services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be held at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery at a time to be determined.
