Albany- Laura Ann Brookshire, 67, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 19, 2018.
Born in Albany on April 9, 1951, a daughter of the late Clifford and Frances Hicks Ford.
Laura is survived by her husband, Harvey Reed; son, Bryant Davis and his children, Tomonya Davis, Nahki Davis, Sha-Meera Davis and Janessa Davis; son, James Ford and his children, Genia Ford, Jay-Meer Ford, Jani Ford and Janon Ford; daughter, Melissa Ford and her son, Rahzier Hudson; five great-grandchildren, Jahkese Rivers, Jahari Goffney, Jaylin Wilson, Aleayah Hudson and Aniyah Hudson; siblings, Hernandez Poole, Suerissa Poole, Ester Ford, Connie Ford, Peter Ford, James Ford and Ralph Ford.
Receiving Laura into heaven are her two children, Laura and Ronald Ford and siblings, Martia Dixon, Colethia Poole, Michael Ford, Carlton Ford and Eric Ford.
A calling hour for Laura will be held on Thursday, Decemeber 27, 2018 from 12:30pm until 1:30pm followed by a celebration of life beginning at 1:30pm.
