COLONIE-Margaret A. "Peg" LaFleur, 79, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Albany Memorial Hospital with her loving family by her side.
Peg was born on March 23, 1939 to the late Thomas and Elsie (O'Bray) Barry in Bronx, NY. Peg was the devoted wife to Kenneth D. LaFleur. They were married 59 years. Together they raised three daughters. Peg's passion in life was her family. She will be remembered for her love of camping in Warrensburg, going to Disney, and Nascar. She was a die hard Patriots fan. She was a long time parishioner and volunteer at Christ our Light Catholic Church in Loudonville.
Peg is predeceased by her brother, Tom Barry.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth D. LaFleur, her three daughters, Lynne Charon, Barbara (Walter) Bortle and Susan (Daniel) Farrell, her grandchildren, Walter Bortle, Stephanie DiPompei, Karen (Andrew) Simmons, DJ Charon, Nichole Farrell, her great-grandchildren, Josh DiPompei, Daniel Simmons, and Matthew Simmons, her sisters, Ellie Alfeld, Pat (Paul) Lawson, and Joyce Barry, and her former son-in-law, Dan Charon.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, New York on Monday, January 7, 2019 from 4:00pm-7:00pm. Burial will be privately at the convenience of the family.
