Jack was born in Albany on March 13, 1937 to the late Edward C. and Alberta L. Myers and resided nearly all of his life in West Albany. He was a 1955 graduate of Vincentian Institute where he starred as an All Albany athlete in football and baseball. Up until the time of his passing he thoroughly enjoyed his work with the Town of Colonie Parks and Recreation Department.
Jack was a friend to all. He knew everybody in his little town and everyone knew him. He was a lifelong fan of the New York Yankees and visited numerous area golf courses. He was a life member of the Joseph E. Zaloga American Legion Post #1520 where darts and other sports were always topics of conversation.
He is survived by his beloved son Mickey (Kelly) and grandchildren Sierra and Jimmy Myers. He is also survived by his sister Ann DeVoe (Charles DeVoe) and sister-in-law Patti Myers. Jack was predeceased by his brother Ed, his lifelong teammate.
