Wilson A. Selig

October 4, 1943 — July 20, 2022

ALBANY
Wilson A. Selig aka "Buddy", 78 of Guilderland, passed away peacefully, at home, on July 20, 2022.
Born in Port Medway, Nova Scotia, Bud was the son of the late Adam and Myrtle Selig. He was also predeceased by
his three sons: Wayne Selig, Jeffery Jones and Scott Selig, as well as his brother, Raymond Selig.

Self - employed and owner of Bud's Home Improvement, Bud's work was his life. His knowledge, talent and expertise
in home repairs were an inspiration and a great help to many. Bud was thought of as "The Mayor of the Neighborhood" and
will be missed driving around the area in his recognizable white work truck.

Bud loved and was extremely proud of each member of his family. His conversations with people always included them. Bud
had loving relationships with his sisters and brothers and traveled to see them as often as he could. He was the light and life at
every social gathering. As a Grandpa, he taught his grandchildren so much about life, mostly how to have a good time. He was
always smiling and laughing and loved telling his stories and jokes.

The simplest pleasures in life brought Bud great joy. He loved everything in life, especially the spontaneous road trips he would take with his
wife Sally along with their many cruises, visits to family, and their joy rides to Lake George and to get ice cream.

Bud is survived by: his loving wife, Sally, of 50years; daughter, Wendy (Michael) Houck; three sons, Randy Jones, Gary (Karen Klein) Selig,
Cory Selig; three granddaughters, Jennifer Houck, Sara Houck, Krystal Benninger; three grandsons, Myles Selig, Kyle Selig and Chase Calabrano;
two sister, Annabel Manning, Irene Sarty; one brother, Ernest Selig and many nieces, nephews, cousins, along with numerous lifelong friends and neighbors.
