Richard G. Bolio III, 59, of Albany, N.Y., passed peacefully into the Lord's arms surrounded by friends and family on August 3, 2022, at Albany Medical Center.
He was the beloved husband of Angeles "Angel" Bolio and the loving father of daughters Angelina and Hannah Bolio. Richard was born on December 17, 1962, in Riley, Kansas. He was the son of the late Richard Bolio Jr. and is survived by his mother Eloise Ruth Rivers Bolio, his brother Frank Bolio (Paula) and his sister Cynthia (George) Bolio Osgood.
Richard graduated from Hazen Union High School in Hardwick, Vermont. He was a veteran of Desert Storm, serving in the United States Army Battalion 131 of combat engineers.
Following his military service, Richard worked as a truck driver, which he thoroughly enjoyed. He had an extensive collection of prized photographs that he had taken from all across the country of large trucks that were proudly displayed on his office walls.
Richard also worked as a cook at the Capital City Rescue Mission and later as a transportation aid at the Center for Disability Services. At the time of his passing, Richard was employed at Albany Medical Center in Environmental Services.
Friends may call on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, from 5 to 6 p.m. at City Harvest Family Church located at 585 Central Avenue Albany, N.Y., 12206 with a celebration of life following from 6 to 7 p.m.
Flowers may be sent to the church on Wednesday August 10th starting at noon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to City Harvest Family Church for missions in the Philippines.
While our hearts are filled with grief in his absence, we rejoice knowing Richard is with the Lord.
