Bruce M. Coyle, Sr.
March 30, 1949 — August 21, 2022
East Greenbush-Bruce M. Coyle, Sr., 73, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2022 at home with his family.
Born on March 30, 1949 son of the late Albert T. Coyle and Pauline Inczewski (Eriole) in Albany, NY.
Bruce graduated from Philip Schuyler High School prior to being drafted. Bruce was a veteran of the U.S. Army proudly serving his country during the Vietnam War Era. He was a member of American Legion Melvin Roads Post # 1231. He retired from the NYS Office of General Services after 38 years of service.
Bruce was a devoted husband and father. He was an avid fisherman and a life long NY Yankees fan. He and his wife enjoyed traveling together. Bruce was also a longstanding couch champion of Jeopardy. He will be very dearly missed.
Bruce is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Eileen Coyle (Matera); children, Nicole Coyle (Tony Liker), Bruce Michael Coyle, Jr.; siblings, Carol Treffiletti, Mary Vitela and Thomas Inczewski (Connie); mother-in-law, Arlene Matera; beloved in laws, Christine Little (Bob), Nicholas Matera, Sharon Cunningham (Marc), Daniel Matera (Lisa) as well as several nieces and nephews and life long friend, Lou Ann Whelan.
He was predeceased by his father-in-law, Nicholas D. Matera and his life long best friend, Michael Whelan.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Community Hospice Foundation, 310 S. Manning Blvd.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at 10am at St. Mary's Church, 163 Columbia Turnpike # 2, Rensselaer, NY 12144. Calling hours will be held on Monday, August 29, 2022 from 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205. Interment will follow Mass at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
