Barbara Anne Kennedy

Barbara Ann Kennedy, 86 passed away at home surrounded by family on October 19, 2022. She was born in Albany, NY on May 31, 1936, the daughter of the late Joseph and Marion (Gardner) DeFilipo. Barbara graduated from Albany High School. She was employed by Port St. Lucie County as an Administrative Clerk.

As a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for over 70 years, she had many friends. Anywhere she went she made good friends. Barbara loved and cared about people and is loved and cherished by many.

Barbara loved her family. She is survived by her sister Carol (Angelo) Rossi; children Kristi Coffey, Kurt (Melissa) Josef, Keith Josef; grandchildren Jason Josef, Michael (Amanda Fitzgerald) Coffey, Madeline (Sam) Rodman, Paige (Jeff) Hotaling, Jesse Josef, Luna Josef, Elena Josef; great grandchildren Jayden Josef, Harmony Smith and Emma Coffey; nephew Angelo (Dawn) Rossi and niece Andrea (Chris) Hopkins; great niece and nephew Mia Mclean and Jamison Hopkins and many, many cousins.

Barbara will be missed by all her family and friends. Her true wish would be to smile when you think of the happy times you had together.
