Colleen M. Rifenburgh, 63, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023 at home surrounded by her family.
Born on November 8,1959 in Cobleskill, NY, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Hopkins) Kearney.
Colleen had a genuine heart, always giving to others. She was a loving and caring mother, serving her family as a homemaker, and continued her care by babysitting her grandchildren. For many decades, Colleen was a caretaker for Rensselaer County ARC and Elder Care.
She is survived by her husband Paul D. Rifenburgh, Sr., her children Paul (Robin) Rifenburgh, Amber (David) Stutzman, and Adam Rifenburgh; her grandchildren Paul III, Lennon, and Bryce; sisters Patricia Kearney and Mary Sindoni, and her brother Michael Kearney, and several nieces and nephews. Heartfelt thank you to her niece Lauren Sindoni, RN, for putting her aunt first, and never leaving Amber's side.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Thomas Kearney.
