Janet K. Kipp, 77, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at home.
Janet was the daughter of the late Leal Mallory and Martha Elliot. Janet was the devoted wife of over 56 years to Raymond J. Kipp.
Janet enjoyed watching her daytime soaps, cooking shows, the Hallmark channel, reading romance novels and embroidering. She loved to go to the Berkshires with Ray and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her son-in-law Keith M. Torak.
Janet is survived by her husband Raymond, her daughter, Tammie Torak, grandchildren, Kathryn Alioto and Kimberly Yager and her beloved great grandchildren Phillip and Luciana Alioto, who lovingly called her "GiGi". She is also survived by her siblings, James (Marie) Mallory and Nancy (Gil) Chichester as well as several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday November 14, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Schenectady Memorial Park, 566 Giffords Church Road, Schenectady, NY, all are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Memorial P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148 in Janet's memory.
