WATERVLIET, NY – George A. Nedoroscik, 84, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2009, after a brief illness. Born in Cohoes, he was the son of the late Joseph and Anna Nedoroscik. Mr. Nedoroscik lived in Cohoes for most of his life before moving to Watervliet. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving his country during World War II. George retired from Norton Company after of 30 years of service. He was a member of the Cohoes Elks Lodge. George is the beloved father of Christina Ned, Charlene (John) Moore, Susan (Gary) Rogers, Mary Ellen (Steven) Economos and Nancy Nedoroscik. He is the cherished grandfather of Eric, Theresa, Kaysie, Jonathan, Alexandra, Matthew, Christopher, Samantha, Stephanie, Taylor and Megan and the loving great-grandfather of Mason, Austin, Destiny and Mariah. George was predeceased by his brothers, John, Joseph, Andrew and Stephen Nedoroscik, and his sisters, Mary Navajosky and Margaret Kahoe.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
