Estelle Parker

ALBANY - Estelle Elizabeth Parker, 80, passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 27, 1930 in Charlestown, W.Va. and was the daughter of the late James Walter and Viola (Johnson) Parker. Estelle is survived by her loving children, Leon (Roseann) Tucker, Ronald Tucker, Barbara Parker, Gary (Lisa) Parker, all of Albany, and Fred Mallory of Wis. She is the sister of Ruth Redmond of Albany and Herbert Parker of Boynton Beach, Fla. Also surviving are 15 grand-children, 16 great-grand-children and a host of relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Estelle was predeceased by her son, Jeffrey Tucker; her brother, James Parker; her sister, Mary Vaughn; and her grandchildren, Jeffrey Tucker Jr. and Sallah Parker. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at Wilborn Temple in Albany. Calling hours will precede the service from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the church. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Graceland Cemetery, Albany.
