Robert E. Ross

BERLIN, NY – Robert E. Ross, 81, passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at his home. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Donald and Martha Ross. Mr. Ross was a lifelong resident of the Capital District. Bob was fourth generation in the family stone business, working forty years at Adam Ross Cut Stone Company in Albany where he also served as president before his retirement. He enjoyed nature and the outdoors. Bob is the beloved husband of Alice G. Ross. He is the devoted father of Deborah Ross-Lebrecht, David C. Ross and Randall R. Ross. He is the loving brother of Caroline Price, Irving Ross and the late Donald C. Ross, Jr. Also surviving are his cherished grandchildren, Evan C. Ross and Morgan R. Lebrecht.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with calling hours prior from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie.
