Mary Anne Montesano

Mary Anne Montesano, 48, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2011, surrounded by her loving family at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Born in Albany, on November 18, 1962, she was the daughter of the Late Margaret (Foley) and George Montesano, Sr.
Mary Anne graduated from Colonie Central High School and received her Business Degree from Albany Business College. She was the Operations Coordinator of Information Technology for Excelsior College located in Albany.
Loving Sister of Joseph (Freda) Montesano, Elaine (Wayne Sr.) Dragon, Rosemary (Thomas) Giaquinto, Janice Riccardi, Kathi (Jeffery) Montesano-Ostrander, George (Nancy) Montesano Jr., and David Montesano. Mary Anne cherished as a daughter, Lindsey Brenenstuhl. She also leaves a very dear friend and cousin, Dawn (Goodman) Birdsall. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews along with their spouses and children. She also leaves behind her devoted Chihuahua "Doozer".
She was predeceased by her brother in-law Raymond Riccardi.
Mary Anne enjoyed cooking for others and organizing events for special causes. She will always be remembered for being a great friend to many and caring deeply about her co-workers.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, September 29, from 4:00-8:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205. Funeral Service will be Friday at 9:00 am from the Funeral Home thence to Christ Our Light Catholic Church, 1 Maria Drive, Loudonville, where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
