Obituary for Jane A. Buchanan
DELMAR – Jane A. Buchanan, 79, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Sara Haverly.
Jane enjoyed the company of her children and the children of the neighborhood.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of many decades, Robert Buchanan, and her sister Loretta.
Jane is survived by her siblings, Lillian and Leroy Haverly, several loving children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to Good Samaritan Nursing Home for their staff’s excellent care.
A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
