SUMMERVILLE, SC – Mozelle Pinchback entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 9, 2012 at Trident Medical Center, North Charleston, SC. She worked for the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Albany in food service until her retirement in 1982. Preceding her in death were her parents, Katie and Banks Epperson, her husband, Frank Pinchback, four sisters, Dorothy Critchlow, Daisy Simon, Fannie and Rachel Epperson; nine brothers, Frank 2nd , Claude, Banks "Bunk", Robert, George, Russell, Taft, Frank 1st and Preston Epperson; and two sons, Frank "Snookie" and Donald Pinchback. She leaves to mourn her passing her daughters: Rev. Jinaki (Marion) Jabari of Summerville, SC and Jacqueline (Charles) McLean of Jacksonville, FL; her brother, Joseph (Tina) Epperson of New Iberia, LA and a dear and loving sister friend, Bertha Ellis of Albany, NY; twelve grandchildren, Mark (Lenette) Pinchback of Oakridge, TN, Michelle Pinchback of Schenectady, NY, Marion Bryant Jr. of Honolulu, HI, Deborah Juhen of Goose Creek, SC, Yvette Pinchback of Greensboro, NC, Marta Pinchback of Youngstown, OH, Justin (Sara) Pinchback of Boston, MA, Melissa (James) Flowers of San Antonio, TX, LaTonya (Keith) Fugl of Great Britain, Rev. Terri (Brendan) Mitchell of Mableton, GA, Tiffany McLean of Sanford, SC and Samuel McLean Jr. of Danemora, NY; twenty-four great-grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park, Colonie.
