Francesca (Mary) Figliomeni

ALBANY - Francesca (Mary) Figliomeni, 87, went to peace on Wednesday, February 7, 2012 in Clearwater Florida. Born in Reggio, Calabria, Italy, Francesca was the beloved wife of the late Dominick Figliomeni of Albany, NY and daughter of the late Maria (Rosa) Futia and the late Carlo Baggetta and step daughter of the late Guiseppi Futia. She is survived by her son, Carlo (Frank) Figliomeni and his wife, Susan of Albany and Rosa (Figliomeni) Garino of Florida. She is the sister of Cosimo (Nino) Futia and his wife, Anna of Albany and Adela (Futia) Baggetta and her late husband, Joe of Italy. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Dominick Figliomeni (Summer), Joseph Figliomeni (Emily) and Rosemary (Figliomeni) Alfano (Luigi); 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Tuesday at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 391 Delaware Ave., Albany (formerly St. James). Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 8 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Entombment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
