David W. Turner

ALBANY - David William Turner, 56, of Albany, NY passed away suddenly on March 1st. David was born on August 10, 1955 to Wyvonnie and the late William Turner, Jr.
David grew up in Catskill, NY, attended the Catskill Public School system, and graduated from Catskill Senior High School. As a child, he attended Riverview Baptist Church in Coeymans, NY and Mt. Tabor AME Church in Catskill, NY.
David loved his family, the NY Knicks, the NY Giants, golf, crime shows, politics, spending time on the computer, R&B from the 60's, 70's & 80's, the Jackson 5, turkey legs and Pepsi.
He leaves to cherish his memory his much beloved mother, Wyvonnie Turner of Albany, NY, sister, Rosalind (Ernest) Harris of Guilderland, NY, brothers Grady Eugene Turner and Carl Louis Turner, both of Albany, NY, an aunt, Gladys Walker-Smith of Albany, NY, and a host of cousins.
David was predeceased by his father, William Turner, Jr., a brother, Walter Anthony Turner, grandparents, Ossie & Grady Thomas and Anna & William Turner, Sr., and uncles, Jack Turner, the Reverend Frank Turner, and Walter Turner.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral service being held at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY on Thursday, March 8th at 1:00pm. Calling hours will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 11 to 1 pm, prior to the service.

Family will receive callers at the repast being held at Elijah Missionary Baptist Church, 12 Benjamin Street, Albany, NY immediately following funeral service.
