Daniel Michael Ploof, 57, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 after a long illness. Daniel was born in Troy to the late Henry and Shirley (Walsh) Ploof. Daniel loved reading books and electronics were his true passion.
Daniel is survived by his brothers and sisters; Dawn Vandenburgh, Henry Ploof, Richard (Maryanna) Ploof, John (Ella) Ploof, David Ploof and Heather Atkins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be on Monday at 11:00 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. A calling hour will precede the service from 10 to 11. Interment will follow the service at St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy.
