RENSSELAER-Wanda H. Webster, 57, of South High St. Rensselaer passed away on Monday, August 27, 2012 at Albany Medical Center following an illness. She was born in Albany, NY the daughter of Addie M. Manley Webster of Albany and the late Charles F. Webster. Wanda graduated from Rensselaer High School and earned a Bachelor of Art Degree from the University of Buffalo. She was employed by the Methodist Society as an administrative assistant. She was also an actress and singer and had received numerous theatrical awards. Wanda was an activist with in her community, participating in various events.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her siblings, Michael C. (Pamela) Webster of Milwaukee, WI, Marilyn Dyson, Loudonville, and Nancy Marie Moore of Charlotte, NC. Wanda is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews including, Aaron J. Moore, Michelle Rodriguez, Nicole M. (William) Hamilton, Sym’ein Moore and Sydney Moore.
Calling hours will be held from 10AM to 12 Noon on Friday, August 31, 2012 at Emmaus Methodist Church, Morris St. Albany with a funeral service immediately to follow at 12 Noon.
Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park.
