Joseph F. Ricci Sr.

COLONIE – Joseph F. Ricci, 74, of Colonie, passed away peacefully on Monday August 19, 2013 and went home to be with the Lord and reunited with his beloved wife, Sandra.
He was born in Troy and was the son of the late Eugene and Jean Ricci. Joe had worked at the Norton Company for many years before his retirement.
He has been an integral member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church for over thirty years in Colonie. Joe served in various capacities and ministries including property management, tape ministry and counseling. He was the founder and co/director of New Hope Ministries Radio Program and 12 step support group with his dear friend and brother in Christ, Ed LaCasse. Joe was also involved in the contemporary worship team.
Joe was predeceased in November of 2012 by his beloved wife of 53 years, Sandra M. Ricci and his grandson, Michael Ricci. He is the devoted father of Joseph Ricci, Jr., Lori Rappleyea, Debbie Navaretta and Connie (Marlyn) Webster. He is the brother of Thomas (Angela) DeVesto and the late Eugene Ricci. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 11:00 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 63 Mountain View Ave., Colonie. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 8 pm at the CHURCH. Interment will be in Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Ministry, c/o Our Saviors Lutheran Church.
