Lorraine Miller
April 30, 1926 — August 4, 2014
Colonie- Lorraine M. Miller, 88, passed away peacefully, Monday, August 4th 2014 at Ellis Hospital.
Lorraine is survived by her daughters; Diane L. Smith, Gail (Mike) Tessier, and predeceased by her precious son William C. Miller.
She will also be missed by her grandchildren; Allison (Patrick) Kelleher, Frank (Samantha) Smith, and by her great-grandchildren; Katelyn, Emily, and Ashlyn Kelleher, who she treasured greatly; as well as her many nieces and nephews.
Over the years, Lorraine worked at the NY Telephone Co., the Colonie Police Dept., and retired after 20+ years with Combined Life Insurance Co.
Lorraine loved her family, music and dancing and enjoyed many years with her friends at the Colonie Senior Center on Thunder Road. She loved to travel with her friends, but mainly enjoyed most of her time with her family. She was a devoted mom and grandmother and will be truly missed by her children.
The services will be held privately by the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Gillette Children's Healthcare in memory of Lorraine and Billy Miller.
