A. Ann Wilson, 82, of Castleton passed away on May 9, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Ogdensburg, NY, she is the daughter of the late Roy and Elizabeth Billings. A. Ann was a graduate of Ogdensburg Free Academy at the A. Barton Hepburn Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1959. She worked as a Registered Nurse for the Stratton V. A. Hospital, Albany, NY. She retired in 1999. A. Ann loved spending time at the Lake House at The Great Sacandaga Lake. As a snow bird she loved to volunteer in the Everglades National Park and other national parks protecting the wildlife. She also loved traveling across the country in an RV.
She was preceded in death by her father Roy Stratton Billings and her mother Elizabeth Billings. She was a devoted wife of Charles J. Wilson for 62 years. She is survived by her twin sons Michael and Robert Wilson; her four loving grandchildren Katya, Joseph, Samantha and Charlotte; and sister Rogene. She is preceded in death by her brother Roy Edward Billings.
Funeral service will be held at The Cathedral of All Saints Episcopal Church, 62 South Swan St., Albany on Friday, May 14 at 10:00am.
