OSWEGO, IL – Adelaide "Tillie" Kaestner, 88, formerly of Albany, died Saturday, February 10, 2007 in Oswego, IL. She is survived by her only son, Edward J. Kaestner, 58 and her granddaughter, Amy E. Kaestner, 23, both of Oswego, IL, a suburb of Chicago. She was predeceased in death by her husband, Edward W. Kaestner, her mother, Viola Marinello and her father, Anthony Marinello. She was united in marriage on May 18, 1943 at St. James Church to Edward. Tillie lived in Chicago while her husband Ed served in the Navy and trained at the Great Lakes Naval Training Facility. She lived in the Westmere area for 52 years in the same house with her husband and son. She was a long time member and officer of the Rosary Association for Christ the King Church.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on SATURDAY morning at 9:00 at Christ the King Church. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). The parish family of Christ the King will gather at 5:30 on Wednesday at the funeral home for a service of prayer and remembrance. All are welcome. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
