Adeline Altimari

LATHAM_Adeline C. "Lily" Altimari, 97, of Latham, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 1, 2015 surrounded by her family. Adeline was born on September 21, 1917, daughter of the late Frank and Antoinette (Greco) Petramale in Athens, NY.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Adeline was a wonderful friend, devoted to her family and was happiest spending time with them, especially her children, who survive her, Linda Gast of Cohoes, Victor Altimari of Altamont and Gerard Altimari (Miriam Bodwell) of Burnt Hills, her grandchildren, Barry Gast (Keith Baker), Brian Gast (Marnie) and Victoria Altimari (Graham Frasier), and her great-granddaughter, Theresa. Also survived by her sister, Anne (the late Sam) Pomellitto and sister-in-law, Carol Petramale.
Adeline was predeceased by her husband of 32 years, Victor Altimari, her beloved son-in-law, Ronald Gast, her sisters, Frances Esposito and her husband Louis, Theresa Daisernia and her husband Nicholas, Mary Scalzo and her husband Patrick, Margaret Petramale and her brother, Frank Petramale.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Adeline will be held on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, 21 Main St., Ravena, NY 12143. Friends are invited to call on Thursday, May 7, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY 12205. Interment will immediately follow mass in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Coeymans, NY.
