Adeline Edna Madsen

Ballston Lake - Adeline Edna "Bobbi" Madsen, 89, formerly from Watervliet, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022, with her loving family by her side. Bobbi was the daughter of the late George and Edna (Ames) Kniffen. She was the devoted wife of the late Charles H. Madsen. They were married almost 40 years.

Bobbi worked at the Watervliet Arsenal before retiring and relocating to Florida for several years, then returning to the Capital District. She enjoyed Bingo, shopping, golfing and most importantly her grandchildren.

Bobbi is survived by her children, Karen (Paul) DeFrancisco and Chris (Laurie) Madsen; her grandchildren, Alyssa (Anthony) Gifford, Zachary Adriance, Hailey Madsen, and Rebecca Madsen; her sister, Joyce Stone; sister-in-law, Alice Kniffen; and several nieces and nephews.

Bobbi is predeceased by her brother, Earl Kniffen.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, on Friday, May 13, 2022, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm. Interment will immediately follow the service at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
