NORTH GREENBUSH - Adella S. Cooper passed away on Monday, October 28, 2013 after a brief illness. She is survived by two daughters.
Adella was the Junior/Senior High Art Teacher at Van Rensselaer Junior/ Senior High School until her retirement. She earned her Master's degree at the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque. Adella was an avid gardener, enjoyed the Symphony, and loved her 'rescued' cats.
The family requests that NO FLOWERS BE SENT. Instead, donations to the Hudson Mohawk Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave. Menands, NY 12204; Albany Symphony Orchestra, 19 Clinton Avenue, Albany, NY 12207 or the World Wildlife Fund, 1250 Twenty-Fourth Street, N.W. ,P.O. Box 97180, Washington, DC 20090-7180 in Memory of Adella S. Cooper will be gratefully acknowledged.
A calling hour will be held on Friday from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie.
