GUILDERLAND – Adeujuan "Dej" Ali-Jah Ali' Adams, 16, departed this life on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Albany Medical Center. Born in Albany on July 20, 1996, he was the son of Stephanie Sanders (Terrance Roberts), and father Brian R. Adams.

Dej was a student with the Guilderland Central School District. He enjoyed playing basketball and football.

Dej was predeceased by his aunts Willie Mildred (Kurby) Dean and Delareca Sturdivant; uncles Michael Sturdivant and Robert Adams; grandparents Beatrice and Robert Adams, and great-grandmother Ruby Lee Jackson.

Along with his parents, he will be missed by his siblings, Moné Soto, Mark Soto and Gabriel Adams; grandparents Mary A. Arrington and Roy Sanders; Aunts Ruby Joyce (Major) Jordan, Rose Mary (Ernest James) Ruffin, Brenda Terrell Skervin, Sandra Sutherland, Sharon Adams, Paulette Right, Colleen Adams (Arthur) Jackson; uncle Rahsaan Adams, and a host of family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 10:30 am at St. John's C.O.G.I.C., 94 Herkimer Street, Albany. Calling hours will precede the service from 9:00 to 10:30 am at the church.
