LATHAM – Agnes Barbalace, 53, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2006 at her home.
Agnes was born on September 6, 1952 in Troy and was the daughter of the late John and Anna O'Malley McMahon.
Agnes worked as an LPN for many years for the Eddy Nursing Homes in Troy. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, going to ballets, walking in parks, music, dancing, movies and was an animal lover, especially her three cats.
Agnes is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Frank A. Barbalace; her sisters, Catherine Andrews, Mary (Hank) Veipert, Joan (Bob) Giordano, Anna (Bill) Reinoehl, Sheila McKeon and Noreen McMahon; her brother, Michael (Ellen) McMahon; her sister-in-law, Rose Rossi and her family and several other sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Jack, Jim, Joe and Ed McMahon and her sisters, Marge Blais Connie Spens.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Pius X Church in Loudonville. There will be no calling hours.
