Agnes O. Barile

Schenectady- Agnes Barile, 89, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2018. Born on January 6, 1929 in Albany, NY she was the daughter of the late Francis and Violet (Cotton) O'Toole. Agnes was an entrepreneur, owning several businesses. She also worked for many years for General Electric. Agnes was a talented artist and loved to paint. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Agnes will be remembered for her patience and pleasant disposition.She faced all situations with resilience and grace, never complaining and always smiling.
Agnes is survived by her loving children: Karen (Terry) Miltner, Joseph (Cynthia) Farone, Cynthia (Terry) Amrhein, Frank Farone and David Farone; her beloved grandchildren: Sarah (Patrick) Hill, William (Jaime) Mattice, Christopher (Brynn) Miltner, Michelle Miltner, Angela (Jason) Waite, Joseph (Caryn) Farone, Nicholas Farone, Kurt Baker, Jennifer (Paul) Junod, Alex Farone; 11 great-grandchildren; her two sisters: Frances Giardino and Shirley O'Toole; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial visitation will be from 1 pm to 3 pm on Saturday, December 1 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet. A Memorial service will be held at 3 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
