COLONIE – Agnes G. Haines, 89, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at The Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital.
Agnes was born on December 10, 1921 in Albany and was the daughter of the late Cecil and Catherine (Putnam) Gribbon. She worked as a secretary for the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance. She enjoyed golfing and was a member of Wolfert's Roost Country Club in Loudonville.
Agnes is survived by her loving children, Catherine H. (Deane) Fish of Voorheesville and Mark (Linda) Haines of Mayfield; her cherished grandchildren, James Dayton Fish, Alexandra Catherine Fish, and Thomas James Haines; and her cherished great-grandson, Jayden Haines. She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 52 years, Dayton Haines.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday at Christ the King Church, 20 Sumpter Ave., Guilderland, all are welcomed. Interment, St. Peter's Cemetery, Saratoga Springs.
